Co-sponsored by the LiTG and under the auspices of the TU Dresden, the Dresden 2025 Urban and Outdoor Lighting Conference will take place on May 27 and 28, 2025. The event is aimed at specialists from local authorities, energy supply, industry, the service sector and the management of public lighting.

The conference is characterized by the mix of practical specialist presentations, the informative trade exhibition and the popular evening event. As every year, the aim for 2025 is once again to cover a wide range of topics that reflect a variety of public lighting issues. In addition to a basic normative section, topics relating to environmental protection (solar) and monetary security (subsidies, KAG) will also be discussed. Solutions for optimizing operations management (standardization, electricity purchasing) and the legally compliant awarding of services are also presented. Other topics on the agenda include the economic, technical and design implementation of modernization measures. In line with the suggestions made at the last conference, 30-minute presentations are planned in parts. The group of participants consists of local authorities, municipal utilities/network operators and representatives of manufacturers/service providers from the 300 participants and 31 exhibitors at the last conference.
